Happy Halloween! Hand Sanitizer Holders for all ages.

Happy Halloween, crafty people!  I hope you plan to have fun today, however you celebrate.  I have made up a whole bunch of hand sanitizer / anti- bac holders for friends, family, and to sell at a local salon.  Truly, you can't go wrong with Bath & Body Works mini hand sanitizers, they're adorable!

Gently Falling Autumn Splendor - HSSTC141

The days here in the Appalachians are getting shorter, but each day is brimming with all the glory that crisp autumn weather and bright sunshine combined have to offer.  The leaves are different every day; yellow last week, changing to deep reds this week.  I love these days the most. They're few but stunning!

Here's a card that was created with that vision in mind...

Layers of regals and subtles!  The card base is Soft Suede stamped with En Francais and sponged around the edges.  Then a layer of Cherry Cobbler embossed with Square Lattice, and Always Artichoke stamped with tone on tone Gently Falling stamps.  A little Cherry Cobbler tulle and Victoria lace, then a layer of Naturals DSP in the notebook paper print, sponged and stamped with "Friend" from Affection Collection.  A little Champagne glimmer paper is peeking out from the left side, and a wrap of Crumb Cake tulle knotted.  Finally, a trio of colorful leaves and an acorn with pearl trim.  To get the changing colors, I first stamped the leaves in Chocolate Chip onto Very Vanilla CS, then sponged in several colors...Cherry Cobbler, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Pie, Always Artichoke, and Soft Suede.  I cut them out and adhered with Dimensionals, then finished with a touch of Dazzling Details.

Sharing some Autumny Make & Takes...

Pin It Now! I went to an {awesome & inspiring} upline meeting this weekend and I wanted to share the beautiful projects that were available for us girls...



Aren't they wonderful?! So crisp & warm looking.



This is a single stamp from the holiday mini, Leaves Of A Tree. It's lovely and versatile. Spice cake paper is run through the Big Shot for texture. I love that shot of Pool Party CS & ruffled ribbon.



Here's a smaller card, with hand cut leaves from Gently Falling, Spice Cake fabric knotted around, and monogrammed.



And what?! How cute is this? A super sweet test tube treat that's elegant enough for your BFFs, but the kids will snatch them up if you're not careful!



I love the way the acorn looks against that tag, and once again, the fabric makes it so much more wow. Love. It.

A Simple Thanks Will Do...

Here's a simple Thank You card using Gently Falling, a sneak peek from Stampin' Up!'s Holiday Mini.

 

I love the variety of leaves in this 12-pc set.

Stamp a backdrop of all the leaves in Crumb Cake on Confetti White cardstock. For the main leaf, stamp it with Early Espresso on Whisper White, then sponge a variety of Autumny colors (Daffodil Delight, Cherry Cobbler, Pumpkin Pie, & a touch of Old Olive). Then cut it out. Tie a long strand of linen thread around the length, then a piece of Certainly Celery seam binding ribbon which is gathered & adhere with glue dots. Attach your leaf with a Stampin' Dimensional. Using the Tag Punch, stamp & punch Thanks from any variety of sets, along with a couple punched from  *new* Spice Cake DSP (available 9/1). Use Tombo Multipurpose adhesive to fan out the tags, punch a small hole in top & insert a mini brad. Adhere with glue dot. Finally, use some of the *new* Dazzling Details to set off the tips of the leaves. This little touch does so much for the card! Here's a closer look...

A Crisp Autumn Thank-You

Pin It Now! I've noticed that lately the winds are changing direction, the ivy is starting to turn its telltale crimson outside my window, and flocks of geese are stirred up and flying over. That can only mean one thing...Autumn is on its way! Oh, I can't wait! Cool mornings, blue jeans, cider, long school days to make cards....

I got my first preorder from the Holiday Mini yesterday, and it is divine! This is my first card made with the Spice Cake suite.

I've had a couple of requests for the supply list so here's what I used:
Cardstock: Very Vanilla, Early Espresso, Spice Cake DSP
Fabric: Spice Cake cut with pinking shears
Stamps: Gently Falling, sponged with More Mustard, Cajun Craze, Read Red, and Daffodil Delight
Glitter used is Galaxy Glitter in Gold
Metal Embellishment: Mini Brad
Ribbon: Early Espresso Quilted Ribbon, Pool Party Ruffled Ribbon, Linen Thread
Tag Punch, stamped with TY from Day of Gratitude

I combined all sorts of textures to put this card together.

It would make a great masculine birthday card, too.
