I have a niece's birthday to celebrate, so it was perfect to make a girly wallet to tuck a gift card into.
Look at that cute little flap inside, just like the real thing. I was so impressed when CJ showed me.
The Triple Treat Flower with coordinating punch dressed up the outside. I love the bright colors. Don't think I've ever used Rich Razzleberry before, but I'm a believer now :)
Finished the flower by cutting and layering 2 stamped images, one with Versa Mark, and the other with Stampin' Write Markers in Rich Razzleberry and Lucky Limeade. Then an Early Espresso button and a little knot of Pear Pizzazz Seam Binding Ribbon.
To make this folded wallet, start with a piece of 8-1/2" x 11" cardstock.
Score lengthwise down center at 4-1/4".
Turn sideways and score at 2-3/4", 5-1/2", and 8-1/4". Then accordion-fold, up-down-up-down.
Stamp one end to decorate outside of wallet.
Punch a half circle on the other end for the inside flap of wallet.
Refold, then fold in half and decorate!
Here's my crafty buddy showing me how it's done!
He's always tinkering with paper, tape, clothespins, paper clips, and trying to make batteries out of vegetables. Talk about thinking green!
His marvelous artwork. He made a gamer's wallet out of his. Empty too, like a dude who spends too much on his games. ;)
