Diamond Flip Flop Get Well Card - Tag It

Pin It Now! I needed a Get Well card for my cousin this week, and wanted it to be something she could display and enjoy in her hospital room, so I made a fancy "Diamond Flip" fold and decked it out in this week's Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge color combo.  Major pretty colors!

The colors are perfect for a girl!

This flip flop technique was highlighted in the last round of Ustamp With Dawn and Friends, Cards with Cool Moves.  I love my UStamp catalog...I can always find a Wow technique to practice!

Lovely Romance Triple Easel Cards - Ustamp With Dawn & Friends!

This set features the Triple Easel fold.  These differ from traditional triple easels, though…one is made with varying styles of Framelits (using Chalk Talk Framelits dies).  The other is a staggered rectangular triple easel - each easel is a different size, made to fit the embellishments on each one perfectly!

HSS163 - Pop Up Card With Brand Spankin New Colors!

Pin It Now! Hand Stamped Sentiments has a beautiful color combo to play with this week!  A palette of sherbet inspired colors.  I used a tutorial for a fun pop up card by Ilina Crouse that was created for UStamp With Dawn and Friends Cards With Cool Moves 2013. I love cards that have a surprise factor, so I couldn't wait to try this one!

 Reveals a sweet little box of flowers!  Awwww.

The colors worked perfectly for this card, and for once I was not particularly "challenged" by this challenge!  I plan to use this card template for lots of different themes.  Ilina used "Crazy Love" from the new catalog, and I can see Christmas, Halloween, etc. for inside the box.  So cute!  I will be designing a couple of tutorials for this event as well, so stay tuned ;)

Big Top Party Hat!

Pin It Now! I'm so excited about my latest project for Ustamp With Dawn and Friends.  I've seen some cute party hats around, so I set out to make my own, with a twist...this one is a standing gift card holder in disguise!

There's a full color, 7 page tutorial available for download.  My tutorial includes a party hat template, instructions for the hat, gift card holder, matching card and envelope!

 A closer view of the party hat when opened.  It even has elastic on the inside so the birthday person can wear it!

When complete, you have a closed "gift box", and you just pull the tab on the bottom to reveal the contents!  You can even put a small gift inside, confetti, etc. instead of a gift card.

Blossoms In Motion! {Card Project}

This is my third and final project for this round, and it might just be my favorite!  

This set is called Blossoms In Motion, and there are flowers everywhere!  They include:

A blossom pinwheel card that actually spins!  My son is always wondering why my pinwheel cards don't spin, soooooo.... 

A center easel card that pops up a medallion emblazoned with pretty layered blossoms.
