QUALITY TIME

I'm never happier than when my craft supplies bring me closer to my children.  My craft room has extra seats and drawer space for my 2 guys, and small as it is, I love to huddle up and make stuff next to them!  Today we worked on CJ's project for Cultural Appreciation Day.  He was assigned England, we had to make a poster and a food item.  We made Christmas Crackers full of toys & candy!  I think he (we) did a great job ;)

Great way to use up Christmas wrap scraps.

BECAUSE I CARE SAMPLES

Did somebody say Spring is here?  I love this stamp set so much.  This lush hydrangea is appropriate for any occasion, and is always a show-stopper!  You can easily blend all the pretty colors that the flower comes in with Stampin' Write Markers and the Aqua Painter (103954) or Blender Pens (102845). Quick and pretty. This set, Because I Care (120118) is a Level 1 hostess set.  For an individual order or party of $150.00, you will get this FREE, along with $15.00 of FREE product.  Trust me, it's easy as can be ;)
Super quick and easy card. for the background paper, just
ink up your hydrangea stamp, stamp it off once on scrap paper,
then stamp the 2nd time on your cardstock.  I mixed the large stamp
with the smaller ones. Then stamp your large image, color, blend,
cut to desired size, and mat.  Add sentiment and ribbon wherever
you fancy it should be.  With me it's different each time!

This gorgeous card was CASEd from Sandra Farrell.  I especially
love the square treatment on the Framed Tulip Embossing Folder!
Very easy to do.  You can check out the original here, and check out
several fun ways to use the embossing folder on this video from Butter Nut Sage Designs.

CARDS, CARDS, CARDS!

Free time this week lent itself to time with friends...friends who like to make cards!  We hauled almost all of my craft room into the dining room and set up shop, selecting stamp sets we love but haven't used.  After all, what good is a gorgeous set of stamps if you don't use them?!  They add a decorative touch, just sitting there in their boxes on display, but honestly, putting them to use is much better...
